After hours of waiting, you will still have an empty list in front of you. For example, good luck attempting to automatically search a folder filled with games for Sony’s first PlayStation in PBP format. Navigate to the RetroArch folder using the cd command. The additional problem is that RetroArch can only recognize a few popular formats, even if its cores support them. Open a console window with the cmd command, found either in the Start Menu or through use of the Windows 'Run' menu. Does your collection span multiple systems with large ROMs (like the Playstation, Gamecube, or anything newer)? If so, the scanning can eat up your whole evening. Unfortunately, when dealing with extensive ROM collections, scanning a directory filled with ROMs to detect the games automatically can take a lot of time. That, though, defeats its very purpose, to be a frontend for hundreds of games on different systems. RetroArch’s game detection and playlist update features are great for playing around a dozen ROMs. I’m running 1.7.5 on retroarch and, therefore, the most current version of LB, which I think is 9.3.Note: If you want, download cores directly from the same directory and stick them in the “Cores” folder in your RetroArch. I used to be hoping someone may need a solution for this. I cannot find out why it doesn’t work thru LB. So heres the story,i downloaded a stable version of Retroarch on my computer running Windows 7 64bit.Everytime i start it up though,it crashes and goes to. If I open retroarch thru the exe and cargo a rom, it works perfectly fine. RetroArch crashes whenever I load a PPSSPP savestate. ![]() RetroArch crashes when loading PPSSPP savestates I have all the necessary files correctly setup as the core is getting recognised in retroarch and the standalone PCSX2 program works with the same. I have tried every video driver available in the settings and they all crash. I have managed to get a different, PPSSPP, core to work and it runs. Problem: retroarch crashes while scrolling through options, crashes when clicking load cores, crashes, and the white screen comes up when clicking update on the app. I have also tried the XBOX Dev Mode, but it crashes. Retroarch crashing and other apps, please help. Observe less frequent crashing on load content. If not crashing, load different content until it crashes. Select Load Content and cargo some content to start the core with it.An equivalent crashes happen when loading via the playlist. The crashes seem to happen less if “Close Content” is first selected before loading new content, but still, even then, sometimes it crashes. Often, when loading content/playlist entry while a core is already loaded, Retroarch crashes on Vita/Switch.
